I have a 2012 server running exchange 2013. Sometimes mail comes in immediately and sometimes its very slow. Ive been checking time send and compared it to time reveived. A bunch of them are delayed 10 minutes but some of them are a few hours.
I just did a test and sent 10 emails with the subject as test1, test2, test3 etc and the first one landed immediately. the other 9 are sitting in the servers queue and then they slowly will trickle in during the day. Some mail is being lost as a friend said they sent me something with an attachment and I have never received it, nor is it in my queue and no ndr to the person who sent it.
I am running my mail in thru dyndns who does my spam and av scanning, that is all disabled now. I also have symantec mail security for exchange installed and is disabled as well. Here is the error that I'm getting in my queue report
LED=441 4.4.1 Error encountered while communicating with primary target ip address 421 4.3.2 service not available. Attempted failover host, but that did not succeed. Either there are no alternate hosts, or delivery (thats where the error ends). As I was typing this a 2nd email I sent came in and the queue says there are 8 left. It was the 3rd email I sent too.. The 5th one just landed wth???
