I just started 'chkdsk c: /f /r /b' on my laptop which has an 1TB Seagate HDD around noon-hour it is all most 3pm and it is still at 27%, why has it been like this for the past hour and a half? IT should have slowly gone up by now. The system isn't frozen because the little circle is still spinning and I can hear the drive working.
On my desktop witch has an Seagate 1TB drive it takes about 3 hours to complete but that is at 7200rpm. It just seems weird.
Is this a known Windows 8 bug? Could the drive be having issues? Can this be fixed?
