[IE] IE10 no longer plays youtube HTML5 videos in full screen

A day or two ago, I found Fx 24.4 ESR would no longer play youtube videos in full screen but just in a tiny box in the upper left corner of a full black screen and controls for the HTML5 player were missing. Finally, I figured out that if I double click on the tiny screen while the video is playing that it will then play full screen. Escape key though does not work on Fx now. I tried a number of videos from different authors not just one. I also watch youtube videos in HTML5 on IE 10. At the same time that Fx was playing videos only in a tiny upper left corner with controls missing, IE 10 also refused to play them in full screen. IE says it is in full screen but it isn't and it looks just like SeaMonkey when I try to play full screen youtube HTML5 videos on it. (With SM, it is a known bug for a long time now so it is caused by a known bug on SM which has NEVER been able to play youtube (or any other) HTML5 videos in full screen. So, that is different from whatever is causing IE to no longer play in full screen but the results look identical on both browsers). Why is IE suddenly refusing to play youtube HTML5 videos in full screen? IE was playing them full screen (unlike SM) until a day or so ago. So, what did youtube do a couple of days ago? I also suddenly am getting a very irritating animated gif on both Fx and IE at Youtube and that should not happen since I use the Proxomitron and it stops gif animation but not this new silly one on youtube. It's driving me nuts. -- When governments fear people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. Thomas Jefferson
