For those who have upgraded over the top of an existing Windows 7 Windows 8.1 installation, consider running Disk Cleanup to remove the older operating system\setup files and logs created.
From the Start Screen type "disk cleanup" and then select "Free up disk space by deleting unnecessary files" under Settings. Let the utility run once, then press the Clean up system files button. After the second analysis is complete choose the appropriate sections from the list and select OK.
