Trying to print to copy machine

Using a network cable.. something I'm not doing right on the windows side for a static IP, It worked once for DHCP but as you know the IP changed and that was the end of that.. So on the copy machine I have a static set to 192.168.1.80 and a subnet of 255.255.255.0 So in the printer settings I do add printer, type in the IP address for the printer and it ends up saying it can't be found of some sorts.. Do I need not bother with the subnet? *edit I guess I had to use 192.168.1.100 instead now it's working -- It's NOT Ni-kon It's NE-KON! LG is NOT Lifes Good It's Lucky Goldstar!
