[WIN8] Corrupt user profile

I am trying to follow the procedure from Microsoft to fix a corrupt user profile. I can get to the point where I need to copy all files except ntuser.dat, ntuser.ini, and one other which I do not have to the new user profile. I can make the selections and copy, but when it try to paste the files into the new user profile, nothing happens. I am logged on as "administrator." My machine: Dell Vostro 470, i7, 8GB ram. Server: SBS 2011 on domain Any ideas? TIA - Old
