My office (crippled corporate version of Win7) just tweaked something over the weekend.
While the taskbar icon showed one button for each window, the tabs weren't listed separately (above the button). As such, if I hovered the button, I'd see a list of one active tab for each window.
Now, if I hover over IE, each tab is shown. If I have three windows with four tabs each, the hover would show 12 tabs. I have Chrome installed and it only shows the active tab for each open window (this is the behavior that I prefer).
How do I adjust so that the hover only reveals one tab per window.
