Attempting to "fix" a Win7 computer here, I have run into a problem I need some advise or help.
After cleaning off malware and getting this rig back into shape, I have also had to install many never before installed "Windows Updates" to get this rig relatively current.
The problem is that now I have just THREE Windows Updates including IE 11 that will NOT install!
After googling and searching, I have tried several different approaches to correct this failed installation problem one of which was trying to remove it`s current IE 9 installation first (which also fails), and have continually failed to get these last three Updates to install!
Now the user doesn't even use Internet Explorer, but uses Google Chrome for a web browser so this is not so very critical, but I`m wondering if this Update "situation" will cause other Windows Updates to be affected / blocked somehow?
Can someone here point me in the right direction to remedy this Windows Update problem?
