[WIN8] Issue with Bluetooth headphones and sleep mode on PC

Tried to search to find the answer to this question but no dice so I'm throwing this out there: I have a Win 8.1Pro 64 bit system to which I added a BT USB receiver dongle in order to pair it with a set of Phiaton Chronos M530 BT headset. Now this headset allows you to pair it to two devices simultaneously (which I have done so on an iPhone 5, which *may* be the problem, but I'm not sure) Once I paired the headset with the PC, I then set the headset as the default communications device for playback / recording, for use with Skype / Hangout / Zoiper. I can get the headset device recognized and paired to the PC successfully, the problem comes about when I put the PC into sleep mode and reawaken it. If I forget to turn the headset on *first* before the machine comes out of sleep mode, when I turn the headset on afterwards the PC cannot find it automatically or if I try to force it to find the headset manually. I have to remove and re-pair the device with the PC. If I remember to turn on the headset before starting the PC, it will automatically pair but then the PC will default to the headset being the default playback and recording device (and will show up in the Sound and Devices tab as headphone) which I do *not* want. Any ideas? NefCanuck
