I'm running a machine with Win 7 and have it set for "check updates but let me choose whether to download and install them".
Did a reboot of that machine this morning Monday August 5th (last reboot was on Saturday August 2) and noticed a brief message that an installation was successful.
I checked my logs and saw that "Windows Update Aux" had been automatically installed today upon restarting the PC.
I saw in my Update history log that a "Windows Update Agent 7.6.7600.320" had been installed on August 3.
I'm assuming that this "Windows Update Aux" is the same as the "Windows Update Agent 7.6.7600.320" and its installation hadn't been completed until my reboot this morning.
Am I correct?
