So a relative called me this morning and said their PC won't get to Windows 7 desktop any more. Apparently, when they tried to boot, there was spinning blue ring and they "tried it a few times", which I'm guessing they hit the power button and reset while that was going on. Now apparently it won't even get to that point any more.
I made backup with Acronis True Image a few weeks ago so restoring it would be no problem. I'll be checking it out later today. Anyone know what I should be looking into specifically before trying the image restore? I still run WinXP myself, so I've never had to deal with things like this on Win7 yet.
