Everyone,
With yesterday being patch Tuesday, I went to see what new updates are out there.
Once I checked, and started looking at things, I noticed something odd.
In the below screen shot, you will note that I have KB2975719 selected. Note that it was published yesterday (09/09/2014).

When you click on the link for more information, you go to this page
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2975719
Which is this
"August 2014 update rollup for Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8.1, and Windows Server 2012 R2"
Did they not already re-release that one about 2 times already? Looks like they are going for #3 here. In fact, I did install it back on 09/07/2014, as shown in my patch install history.

So that is my first question. What did they fix yet again with this one? What is also interesting is the actual webpage shows a date of Sept 2nd for the release, and not yesterday, as Windows Update claims.

Yet, something about it must have changed for Microsoft to re-release it and have it show up for me to install yet again.
Next, I see this new optional update
[attachment=4]
Clicking on the more information link takes you to this page
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2984006
Which is this
"September 2014 update rollup for Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8.1, and Windows Server 2012 R2"
So, they cannot get the August one right, so might as well release one for September, and see how that works out? :o
Thoughts, comments, suggestions? Feel free to post away! :D
