I have new iPhone5S ready for an employee.
When I add his Exchange account to it, I get all check marks down the list indicating that it was successful. I choose save in the upper right hand corner. It says account added.
I open up email and nothing comes through. An error is displayed saying, "Cannot get mail - the connection to the server failed".
If I try to send something it fails and says, "Message was rejected by the server".
Here's the kicker...I can add any other exchange account this phone without issue. Email comes through and I can send. But I only have issues with his.
Heck I can't add his exchange account to ANY iOS device. I tried to add it to mine and yes it gets added, but no mail comes through and you can't send anything.
So I'm going with something is wrong with his exchange account. I just don't know what it could be.
Does anyone have any thoughts on what I could do? ...aside from deleting his account and him losing all his emails and contacts. I mean if that has to be done, then It'll have to be done.
