[WIN8] Office 2007 pro versus Office 2010 home and Student

I have a question here, and maybe someone can point out a topic where is is discussed. I'm going to try Windows Mail for my web client and maybe look at installing Office 2010 Home ans Student instead of my 2007 Pro (with Outlook which I've used for years), due simply to all the extras that come with 2010, if I'm happy enough with the mail client's functions. I bought 2010 Home and Student for the kids computers but more and more seem to be leaning towards it myself and still have a license and don't want to buy a pro license just for me for home. I'm still on Win 7/Office 2007 at work as well, but can't help troubleshooting with 2010 because of it. Has anyone had serious issues enough that it stopped them using Windows Live mail. Are the extra functions in 2010 worth looking at for home needs even if I don't like Live Mail and have to look at external third party email clients? Initially this new install of Win 8.1, I don't want to mess too much as I'm still uncertain on imaging issues and don't want to rely just yet on those as backups. Anything at all to help me back n forth install/uninstall etc and to help this path I'm looking at. -- The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing - Edmund Burke
