Windows Update from 10/14 got stuck at 94% downloading on my laptop, which was easy to kill and ignore.
However, on my workstation, the download completed okay, but the install hung at 14 of 16 updates.
After System Restore to the checkpoint created by Windows Update, the system still thinks it has updates to install on the next boot.
OK, tried again. Update hung at the same point, stayed there for 5 hours while I was out today. This time I tried a restore point older than even the prior Windows Update.
The system still thinks it has updates to install on the next boot?
How do I clear this? If the solution is registry edits, that's no problem!
