http://news.yahoo.com/windows-365-trademark-windows-10-220355173.html;_ylt=AwrBJR_StepUEicAlK2TmYlQ So while Windows 10 will be a free upgrade for many, what kind of support will it get and what future does it have if Microsoft try's to push out a product like this? I know I won't pay for Windows every year for the same PC. I still don't know why Microsoft office did this as I hate it and use open office now because of it. Will Windows 10 be the last of the non subscription based OS from Microsoft, I hope not but it's looking that way. I am going to add a few things on how I think this might work: 1) Windows 365 might allow you install to any Windows number of PC's you want, but only with your log in as one user with a Microsoft online account. 2) This will have very heavy cloud bases functions like having everything 1TB+ on a "PC" in the cloud that can pull anything you need to PC you just logged on to. Maybe even run programs from the cloud and so forth. 3) It will be always online as this is something Microsoft has wanted for sometime as the Xbox one showed. Microsoft is going to push this hard in Windows 365. -- If only the FCC set standards on what ISP's can do on customer level connection's with rated "upto" speeds, packet loss and down time.
