Recently I purchased a SSD drive and used Macrium Reflect to clone my HHD (Bootable with OS; Windows7) to the SDD. The process went well, connecting the SSD drive to the same MB port as the HDD had been connected to, PC booted and and works great.
I only selected the OS sector off the HDD (it had an Image D:\ partition; didn't clone because the image was Vista and I updated to Win7....) The New SSD drive cloned with 2 Partitions.....(the SSD C:\drive is a 240GB Drive).....the OS Patition C:\ size cloned to approx 224GB and the difference in a D:\ Partition.
Since I only cloned the OS Partition, is there a reason the Cloning process created 2 Partitions? The D:\ is empty and usable. Tried to contact Macrium; they will not respond.....
