[MCE] Media Center recording a specific "unwanted" show when it finds it.

My system is Windows 8.1 Pro with Windows Media Center. W8 and MCE are activated and have been working just fine since July when I last installed things from scratch. All Windows updates appear to have installed. As for my tuners, I am using two Silicon Dust 3-channel tuners along with the supplied Charter tuner adapters. Again, all are working properly, even the two cable cards. Windows Media Center has been recording shows based on the recording schedule I have built up over time. Other PC's are able to view the recorded shows over the home network without trouble. My problem is that I suddenly find an extra TV show is being automatically recorded every time it shows up on the TV Guide listing. The problem show is "The Mike Francesa Show" and it is a show that I have never asked Media Center to record. This program does not appear on the list of future shows to be recorded. Even with the show not being on the list of future recordings it gets recorded anyway. So far as a means of removing the offending program I have gone into the Tasks Settings|TV|Record|Clear Recording Schedule menu and requested the entire list be cleared. Following that I rebooted the PC and then using the Guide searching method re-added in my list of 50 TV series to be recorded. Those shows are once again recording just fine, unfortunately the "ghost" show is being recorded each time it shows up in the Guide listings as well. I have also updated the guide listings numerous times. I know I can possibly "fix" this by reloading an older drive image but I would rather try and fix the file(s) that are apparently corrupt or do a partial reload once I know what files are needed. Using Google I have seen many methods of saving and restoring the program list for Windows 7 versions of Media Center but so far I have not been able to locate the offending file(s) on my windows 8 version. Anyone else had a problem like this? If so how did you fix it? For the record, I do not want to replace Media Center with another program at this time nor switch to some form of Linux. I'd appreciate any assistance on locating the file(s) that I need to read and edit if possible. I hope the files are not encrypted or using some esoteric data base program but with Windows one never knows. Short of reloading an image of the hard drive or somehow forcing a total re-installation of Media Center what are your ideas on fixing this?
