I upgraded to Windows 10 Home 64 Bit from Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit Home Edition. I had issues with the Microsoft Store not installing apps. So I went online to down the Windows 10 Home Edition 64 Bit recovery from Microsoft's web site. After I completed the install it would not activate with my windows 7 home premium key. I called Microsoft the activation person told me that the only way to activate windows 10 is by reinstalling windows 7 home premium 64bit product key and running the windows 10 upgrade program again. So once they pull that download after one year you have no way to restore windows 10 on your computer. So another words this upgrade is not free and if you ever have to do a clean install or have a hard drive replacement you will have to pay Microsoft for a Windows 10 Product Key or use the version of windows that you had on your computer. I would almost call this a scam by Microsoft. So I am going to have to shell out $120.00 next pay check so I continue to get updates after 30 days.
