So I have had my WIN7 installed on a separate boot drive for a while and never really ever did a wipe and fresh install. With WIN10, the plan is to upgrade for activation/key stuff and then clean install.
The question is how does the clean install work or how do I go about it? I TRY to put everything either on my applications/data SSD or on my storage HDD but things invariably end up on the boot drive (steam game data for one). I thought the whole point of a boot drive is so you can do periodic refreshes, etc. Can you guys/gals let me know the best way of doing this without losing whatever data got stuck on the boot drive? Or am I overthinking this?
Thanks
