I had Windows XP installed in my C drive later i told my technician to install Windows 7 in my new hard disk. I have not formatted my old hard disk so my Windows XP remained and both the hard disks are of course connected to my system. Windows 7 is my default operating system. Both the OS's are on separate partitions and also on separate hard disks.
When i boot using Windows 7 My Computer shows that Windows 7 is installed in C drive and XP is installed in D drive and then when i boot in XP it shows me that my XP is in C drive and Windows 7 in H drive. Windows 7 was actually installed on H drive as I told the technician to install Windows 7 on my new hard disk.
Now i was thinking of uninstalling XP and keeping only Windows 7. But formatting the OS that is C drive is really confusing because it may harm my system as both the OS's seem to be playing a role in C drive only, even though they were not installed in the same drive. Also note my other drives too are interchanging as i switch between the two OS's
Please advise me how do i format or uninstall my Windows XP and keep only Windows 7 safely. Will my Windows XP CD help me uninstalling Windows XP?
In the pics you can see the msconfig of xp and 7
Thanks in advance
