[WIN10] Windows 10 and the keylogger

Some users have been asking if the keylogger, which was included in the Windows 10 Insider Preview, has been removed in the official Windows 10 release. Earlier it was suggested that you could disable the keylogger in the Windows 10 Insider Preview by deleting the DiagTrack and dmwappushservice services and the diagnostic tracker used to send the keylogger file. Both of these services are still installed and running on the official Windows 10 release. So the data mining continues... For those considering Windows 7 or 8 as an alternative, some posters are claiming these services are present in Windows 7 and Windows 8 too, possibly as a result of the nag updates to prepare the system for an upgrade to Windows 10. So if you're using Windows 7 or Windows 8, and this issue concerns you, you may want to follow the same (or similar) steps in those OSes. More info here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows10/comments/31rxsv/disable_keylogger_windows_10 For an alternative (but biased) viewpoint, see this YouTube video which claims that the whole issue is overblown and that the keylogger is only used for the touchscreen keyboard: www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSZ04AZhyM4 May or may not be true. He provides no proof. This video was released in November 2014 before MS released its TOS for the Windows 10 official release.
