At work I have a PC with Win10 and an on-board Ethernet. Because I needed a private network to access some device that is hardwired to a static IP, I added a 2nd network card and connected a router to it.
However, whenever the cable is plugged in between the router and the 2nd network card, my network access get truly messed up. I can no longer connect to the internet, cannot send email, etc. On the other hand, Skype for Business seems to work just fine.
I've used machines with 2 or more networks in the past, and don't remember ever having an issue like this. On the corporate network I have a 10.whatever IP, while the gateway of my private network is 192.168.1.1.
Any idea on how to fix this? (downgrading to OS or removing the network card is not an option)
TIA
