I have been trouble with Microsoft Security Essentials. When trying do a full scan the program is hanging up at this point and does not go any farther. It stops at C:\windows\winsxs\backup\ the files are all start with wow64_microsoft-windows

When the program hang up I have to restart the computer to get Internet Explorer to properly. I have Win 7 installed fully update, Microsoft Security Essentials was Antimalware Client Ver 4.8.204.0, Engine Ver 1.1.12002.0. I uninstalled Essentials, and reinstalled it, with Engine Version 1.1.11903.0. I will try to scan the computer again. But if it hangs up the same folder can I delete the whole folder? (C:\windows\winsxs\backup\). Or do I have something else going on?
