[WIN7] Weird Network Share Error

Basically, I have a shared network drive on my LAN set-up as my server. Let's call it drive "e:". It contains movies, music and such and I like to copy files from my other wireless computers to directories on that networked drive from time to time. That server computer is running Windows 7 and my other computer is running Windows 10 (it was running Windows 7 and I would have the same issue). The issue I tend to have is that when I click on the network icon on my client computer the root shared networked directory shows up as a folder, but when I click it I sometimes get an error that it can't connect to network drive (error code 0x80070035). The thing is, I can cancel the error, try again, try again, and eventually it will connect to the networked drive. Sometimes it will even connect on the first try. So clearly this issue is intermittent. I'm also able to freely connect to that server computer using a program like Teamviewer without ever encountering an error. Any ideas why I would get this intermittent issue and is there any way to fix it so it stays connected? The server computer does require a network name and password which I've entered once and saved those credentials for future access.
