A new video driver was forced on me and I started a thread regarding that: http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r30318231-WIN10-Driver-downloads. One thing I've noticed is that I haven't had any crashes since I've gotten this new driver, and had a pretty persistent pattern of crashes when I first started with Windows 10. Wondering if the new driver is responsible for the improvement. Sure would be nice if that was the case. I have an nVidia 9500GT, which I believe is one generation of cards--and therefore drivers-- prior to the current generation. Anybody having a similar experience with this nVidia generation of cards/drivers? By the way, I did choose a "clean install" when installing the driver--wound up downloading it directly and installing instead of using Windows Update (not sure if you can do the clean install with WU).
