New computer.
I regularly run: Avast full scan, SuperAntiSpyware, MalwareBytes AntiMalware, CCleaner, Disk Cleanup.
I've stripped Startup tab of msconfig down to basics.
I find that this machine is slow to boot up or restart....long delays of black screen before I get to Windows login screens and then a long time before the desktop is fully operational...loading things in background, etc.
After that I also experience long lags. I mostly use Chrome. I have reduced Chrome Extensions to a minimum.
I notices long lags in Edge. Clicking on tabs can simply get no response.... the system seems distracted.
Checking Task Manager I normally don't find any problems. Nothing dominating RAM or disk access.
I've just eliminated some items that logged errors in Event Viewer, and also uninstalled several apps that came with the PC. I'll see if that clears things up.
What else could be making a new computer be laggy?
