Windows 10
I haven't used the built-in OneDrive much yet.
My Windows login is a Microsoft account (hotmail/outlook) and I have 30 GB of storage there.
When I use Cortana to find OneDrive, "Desktop App" it just opens up File Explorer into the OneDrive folder. How is that a Desktop App? I'd expect an app to have menus and settings to help me figure it out. This is just looking at some folders on a computer.
When I look at the folders on my computer within OneDrive, they have some photos in them. I understand OneDrive to be cloud storage. So I'm wondering why there is space on my C: drive taken by photos, for example, in OneDrive.
So I'm clueless. I need to figure out how to set up OneDrive so that it knows which files to back up to the cloud and does not make and keep duplicate files on the computer's HD.
