I have an Asus B43S notebook running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit.
I've been having regular system crashes - they occur probably once every couple of days and happen even when I'm away from the computer. From looking at the Windows 7 minidump files, I think it may be related to the graphics driver.
Error codes have included: 50, 1e, 19 and d1.
The graphics unit on the laptop is the ATI Radeon 6470M but the latest version of the driver on the Asus Support website is version 8.840.7.0, dated 3/28/2011.
Any ideas on how to stop the crashes? Is there any way to force an update to a newer driver? The PC won't accept the newest drivers from ATI's website.
I've attached the minidump file from one of the crashes and would appreciate any help in tracking down the problem, thanks!
