[Excel] Datestamp macro

Hi Looking for some code to datestamp a cell, leaving existing text in the cell intact and hopefully the cell still open for editing. So process... User opens cell to edit in particular column Macro enters equivalent of =TODAY() in left of cell, leaving existing text intact and cursor one space away from datestamp ready to edit. User enters text and closes cell as normal So, if cell contained "01/01/16 New Year's Day" initially, when the User clicked it the edit line would show; "14/01/16 | 01/01/16 New Year's Day" With the cursor at the "|" ready for editing. They enter text so it then reads "14/01/16 Today 01/01/16 New Year's Day" and if they open it again they'll see "14/01/16 | 14/01/16 Today 01/01/16 New Year's Day" again cursor flashing at "|" ready for editing... Possible? I'm struggling with the trigger event and range limitation (it should only apply to cells in column "H"). Thanks!
