[WIN7] File permissions for use with Android ES Explorer

I'm trying to see if I can use ES Explorer for Android to access some shares on my computer. It's Win7 Home Premium. I set up a share on a folder, and set it to EVERYONE read-only. Using ES Explorer, I can only access the share (or any share) if I supply a user name and password. The problem is, I end up with TOO much access to other shares, too, including the various admin shares (C$, D$, etc...) if I use my regular login (which has Admin privs.) In a test, I could even delete files from the C$ share!! I tried creating a standard user named "Remote", but that couldn't access the share. Shouldn't "Everyone" work even if there is no other login?
