Last year I upgraded our Dell laptop from 8 to 8.1 pro. This May I took the leap of faith and upgraded to 10, however, I have accepted I must have done something wrong but it would not turn into 10 Pro like I thought it should. Calling Microsoft got me no where possibly due to language barrier and me being a tad perturbed :uhh:
Anyway, I chose to buy 10 pro for personal reasons and have never looked back.
All that to ask....I would like to utilize the bought 8.1 Pro product key to install on another Dell laptop that came with a Vista install. I seem to be getting no where with this 8.1 Pro media creation tool download. Says, "This tool can't upgrade your PC" !
Easily explainable I'm sure by those more knowledgeable than I, so I'll get the "well duh" on out of the way :)
