I just got a W7 laptop. So far, so good. It's got Home Premium on it and I want Professional for legacy XP apps.
I see it does a ghost image - would a ghost image restore from one version of 7 to another?
Also, does it keep the keys you enter when installing some software?
My real problem is Adobe Illustrator CS2. Any CS2 and a version of Acrobat cannot be validated online or by phone. Adobe no longer supports those versions. However, and CS3 product will install and validate. You have to put in the software install code, then go online to Adobe and get a validation key. You have 2 activations.
I have both Indesign and Photoshop CS3. Which I have on a desktop.
Will the ghost image of 7 keep the validations?
I am not interested in the Cloud crap Adobe is pushing.
Thanks
