accessing shared folder on Win8 from 98SE

I have a home network (workgroup) with a mixture of machines -- 3 shown above. From Cpq2-98 (98SE) I can click on Gx280-mt (XP) and see the shared folders. From Gx280-mt I can run "\\Gx755" and see the shared folders on Gx755 (Win8). However, when I click on Gx755 from Cpq2, I just get a box asking for a password (shown), but the admin user's password do not work. (I think I would need a prompt with both username and password) So how do I makes shared folders accessible on a Win8 machine from a Win98SE box? TIA -- .sig
