Win7 won't install on SSD

It's a Samsung 840 EVO 120GB. It's recognized in BIOS. I am trying to install Win7 Pro x64 from a USB thumbdrive. Boots up fine, loads fine, but when I press Install, I get a driver error: Load Driver A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing. If you have a driver floppy disk, CD, DVD, or USB flash drive, please insert it now.I created the USB using Rufus and a recent Win7 SP1 ISO. Last time I had this problem I plugged the new SSD in another PC, initialized and created a new volume on it, put it back in the new computer, and it had worked. Since the SSD is recognized in BIOS I assume it's Windows that can't do it. Samsung's sites didn't have any drivers I could find. Is there a workaround?
