When performing a "cleanup" I have been clearing out the contents of the Temporary Internet and Content.ie5 folders in Windows XP and 7 but now I am having trouble finding those folders in Windows 8 and 8.1. The locations I used previously were:
Temporary Internet Folders
C:\Users\PROFILE\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files
C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files
C:\Windows\SysWOW32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files
Content.ie5:
C:\Users\PROFILE\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.ie5
C:\Users\DEFAULT\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.ie5
C:\Users\PROFILE\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Low\Content.ie5
I did mange to find two Content.ie5 folders in Windows 8 at the following locations:
C:\Users\PROFILE\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\InetCache\IE\Content.ie5
C:\Users\PROFILE\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\InetCache\Low\Content.ie5
Does anyone know the correct location of these folders in Windows 8 and 8.1 ?
