Office 2013 + ICS = new calendar?

Hi, I have a (edit - now 2) machines with Office 2013 SP1. Everytime I double click an .ics file it looks like a new calendar is made. The .ics was made from 10.9.2 Calendar. The title is put into a shared calendar location. That's a little weird. Bug or "feature" that is enabled?
