I recently performed a clean fresh install of Win7 on a Dell E6440 notebook with a total HDD space of 300GB. I don't need more actually.
However, what really gets me is this, used space is 28GB. But why???
I only installed things like Windows Updates, McAfee AV, Adobe Flash, Reader, MS Office 2007, and drivers and basic stuff like these, that's all.
Nothing huge. Still shows 28GB used space for some reason. My HDD is Bitlockered, but that's all completed already....
The only folder that showed the most space is the WINSXS folder under the C directory.
Still find this really really odd.
