I remember having to reinstall prior versions of Windows every year or two to keep things running smoothly.
Win 7 has been great, of course, I use it A LOT and don't have big issues with it. My Installation date was 10/31/2009
However I know it has gobbled up drive space and I don't have a lot of that. My C: partition now has 2 GB free out of 50. Windows is 30GB. Winsxs is 13GB. SVI is 8 GB. Google and Microsoft taking up the other big chunks of space on the system partition.
I know how to do cleanups and yes I could get a bigger SSD.
But short of those, 1) does Windows 7 need to be reinstalled at some point?
2) will Win 7 use a lot less disk space if reinstalled?
