[WIN10] My thoughts on Windows 10... I can't be the only one?

Just some random thoughts/venting here. I've been a Microsoft User for 20-25 users, since the days of DOS 6.22 and Windows 3.1. I currently work for a Microsoft Partner and manage various Exchange Servers, among other things. In all my years of using Microsoft products, I have always kept automatic updates disabled and only configured windows to notify me when there were new updates, but I picked the time to download them, which updates I wanted to install, and installed them. I never allowed them to be downloaded, let alone, installed automatic. I normally only updated drivers when I had issues, or for gaming performance. If my drivers were working, I rarely, if ever, updated them. As a gamer, I want to upgrade to Windows 10 because of DirectX 12. Plus, a few weeks ago I just built a new Skylake i7/Z170 system with a GTX 980 Ti, so I would love to take advantage of some of some performance gains for when some DirectX 12 games are released. However... My issues with Windows 10 is as follows: 1. Automatic/Forced Updates (even Pro only allows you to defer them for a few months) 2. P2P Server for Windows Update Built In enabled by default. 3. WiFi Sense enabled by default 4. Telemetry reporting (I understand some of it can be disable, but not all, even the HOSTS files is ignored) 5. Driver/Hardware Issues. My printer will not work on 10, and my laptop video drivers are also unsupported under 10. Neither of which are more than a few years old. 6. Start Menu 500 Limitation (As a power steam user, I often have hundreds of games installed at any given time) 7. The interface is simply horrid IMHO. It has a black/dark theme with a limit color palette. Windows 7 and even 8 were much more customize-able and colorful. The notification center is a nightmare and pain the user. The icons in explorer are very ugly and it is not possible to disable frequently accessed files/folders without a regedit. I don't want people who use my computer to see what files I last accessed, or accessed often in clear view just by opening explorer. This didn't happen in Windows 7 or 8.1, which I've been using for years. I'm honestly at the point where I am considering pulling all my personal data from my computer and isolating it off my network (perhaps even inserting a 2nd router between the system and my main router, and configuring the router to route all traffic over a VPN) so that it would not have access to any of my other systems/network shares. I've been considering setting up Windows 10 with a local only account with a "fake" name and only install Steam/Origin (both of which will have separate passwords from everything else I use) and do no personal web browsing, etc on my Windows 10 system. I'd also power it off/disconnect power/ethernet when not in use (since skylake works with cortana even when powered off). I cannot be the only one who dislikes/hates Windows 10 with a passion... can I? I simply hate the OS and the only reason I am even remotely interested in it is for gaming. Is there anyone else here that share the same feelings about Windows 10? I've been very happy with Windows 7/8.1 up until this point and if it wasn't for DirectX 12 games coming, I wouldn't even want to consider it, and if this is the direction Microsoft is going, their new OS's are going to be exactly the same, if not worse. I bought a Used 2010 MacBook Pro 17" a few months ago and have been finding myself using it more and more for everyday tasks as I like the interface so much better than Windows 10 and it does everything I want it to do, other than gaming.
