Probably not the right subject, but let me give you the story.
A long time ago, because I'm not a full domain admin, I created a share using a local group, populated with domain accounts.
Fast forward a year and change, and now we're migrating to a different domain , different company (long story) but the two networks are tied together.
So on DomainA I have a share called ShareA on ServerA using a ServerA local group populated with certain DomainA users.
Now a user has moved to DomainB and tried to authenticated against that share using her DomainA credentials (which are perfectly valid), it won't let us.
My guess is its because it's a local group and not a domain one?
