I've been having a lot of problems with my Internet speeds varying as well as variations in ping and jitter. I've chased around everything I could think of on my Internet feeds trying wired as well as both wireless bands and nothing seemed to make a difference. Today I was doing some more digging around and I found a lot of communications with the IP address of 204.79.197.214. It turns out that address is assigned to Microsoft. I'm running Windows 10x64 Pro and as far as I know I had all communications with Microsoft turned off but obviously it wasn't. Today after blocking communications to and from that IP address might Internet communication seem to be back to normal. I kiss is just another example of Microsoft spying on our computers.
