Every time I start up my laptop, device driver software tries to install and fails. But, the device drivers are already installed and are shown as working. I know they are working as I am using them with no problems.
This started just after the Jan. MSU were installed. I have tried uninstall and installing one by one and can not find the problem MSU, mind you it did take forever to do with the amount of MSU.
The other thing I did was comb through the internet and try everything that was suggested.
The only thing I haven't done at this point is shake a stick at it in one hand while holding a chicken foot in the other and mumbling some mambo jumbo.
The attached is the failed message and the device manager showing nothing wrong.
I have also noticed that new devices like, SanDisk Ultra Dual USB Drive 3.0 64 GB, driver installed but was shown as an unknown device. I had to use 'Driver Talent' to get a driver so it would work.
Does anyone know something different that may stop this from happening every time I boot up?
Any extra info needed, just ask and I will try to provide it.
Thanks
