Initially I had set up my desktop with Windows 10 and made it accessible via RDP. No touch screen or fancy bits. Starting out my laptop had Windows 8.1 and has both a touch screen and fingerprint reader. Remoting in I noticed not only did the touch features translate directly to the desktop including giving me access to the touch keyboard icon and the tablet/desktop mode, but also the RDP client allowed me to utilize the fingerprint reader to log in (both machines use the same Microsoft account).
Since then I have updated said laptop to Windows 10. Ever since it seems I have lost all of those nifty features and it seems to be much more difficult to utilize the touch screen in a remote session.
Anyone else have any experience with this setup and have any advice?
