I have a Lenovo G580. It came pre-installed with Windows 8. I have a Windows 8 Pro upgrade CD that I picked up for $39.95 when it was first released. I couldn't figure out how to do an in place upgrade, so I just reformatted the hard drive and installed it fresh. Interestingly, it never asked me for the key during the install, and when I looked, it was already activated, but it's not Pro. It must have found the OEM key in the BIOS or something. How do I get Windows 8 Pro Installed?
