Does anyone know what Microsoft actually does when your Technet subscription expires?
Does an operating system that is currently activated loose its activation status and require a new key?
If you change the product key of Windows 7 do you lose access to copy once recorded TV shows(DRM violation)?
Does other software (such as Office)that is currently activated loose its activation status and require a new key?
Are the keys that you have claimed disable for new activation?
My Technet subscription expires September 16 and I need to know what to buy when my subscription expires.
I could renew the subscription but that only postpones the problem for a year at a cost of $150.
