Hey my friends,
I have been reading a ton of conflicting and confusing post and websites regarding setting up a DLNA server on Windows 8.1. Can someone please tell me IF a DLNA server CAN be installed under Windows 8.1 and if so, it would be great if anyone could point me to a site that would give me clear instructions on how to install and setup a DNLA server on my laptop?
After finally figuring out that my mobile device can beam videos like YouTube vids and the like (using DNLA of course), I would love to be able to get something similar working on my laptop. My understanding is that I just need to install a DLNA server on it. However, as previously stated, there seems to be more confusion posted on the we rather then simple, useful instructions on installing a DLNA server, and which software to install it for.
I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction as I have not had any luck with my last couple questions I have asked here on BBR.com.
Thanks so much guys and Happy New Year!
John
